I arrived early and asked to just leave my case until the check in time, the receptionist told me there was a room available if I wanted it. He was very professional and pleasant, providing me with all the information I needed about the lift and the restaurant. The room was lovely. Clean, tidy, with warm burgundy tones throughout, tea/coffee facilities, iron, ironing board and hairdryer all in working order. The bathroom is a good size with a bath/shower combo and toiletries, water was hot and the towels were clean. There was no noise issues inside or out (in some hotels I've heard toilets flush in other rooms). I can't comment on the bar or restaurant as I didn't use them, but I would highly reccomend the Glasshaus to anyone looking to stay in Dublin. It may not be central, but the Luas will take you into the heart of the city for sightseeing and shopping and you can save the driving for a trip through the nearby Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough.
Didn't comment on the bar or restaurant as I did not scsil of them. I'm sure that they are excellent like the rest of the accommodation and services. Thanks for the stay
Really enjoyed stay. Room was noisy though from Luas Trams (room 123) Next time i might get room other side of hotel
I stayed at the Glashaus hotel with my two sisters and brother. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious. The restaurant served excellent food with a varied choice. The overall service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return myself.
Great place to stay if you need a place outside of city centre.
